This summer, we had the joy of celebrating our 2025 graduates—and introducing a fresh new look for Act For The Future!

Despite continued political and economic uncertainty in Haiti, our students continue to persevere and complete our three-year tailoring program. Each graduate made their own outfit, including cap and gown, for the ceremony—a testament to their skill, professionalism, and creativity.

The impact of their training doesn’t stop at graduation. Most students are able to put their skills to work right away, either by purchasing their own machines or using the school’s machines to begin paid tailoring work.

These skills are useful,” shared Anaeus, one of our longtime committee members. “Our students are using them in real life.

We’re especially grateful to our director Rene, who organized this year’s ceremony with incredible care and attention to detail.

This moment also marks a milestone in how we share our story. We’ve rebranded Act For The Future with new visuals and a refreshed website (coming soon!) thanks to the creative work of a Haitian-American graphic designer and a Haitian social media specialist. The new look is just one part of our continued effort to dream bigger for our students. We’re brainstorming ways to connect them with opportunities in the global economy—things like tech classes, digital literacy, and more.

If you have ideas or connections that might help, or if you’re willing to pray with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for celebrating with us—and for continuing to believe in what’s possible.
